In this role, you will focus on driving sales and closing deals, while the majority of administrative and support tasks will be handled by our dedicated back-office teams.
Position Overview
As an Insurance Broker at The 1057 Group, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business and close sales. This is a commission-based role where you will earn compensation based on your performance and the sales you drive. This will be a hybrid position allowing the flexibility of working remotely as well as on location. The focus will be prospecting, relationship-building, and closing new deals. You will have the freedom to drive your own success without the need to manage existing clients or handle administrative duties—those tasks are taken care of by our support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate Leads & Close Sales: Actively prospect and build relationships with potential clients. Identify their insurance needs and recommend the right solutions.
- Drive Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales goals by closing new business and securing new clients.
- Collaborate with Back-Office Teams: Work closely with our support teams, who will handle all administrative functions, including policy issuance, renewals, and customer service follow-ups.
- Negotiate & Finalize Deals: Present insurance options, negotiate terms, and close sales in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, products, and regulatory changes to provide the best solutions for your clients.
- Manage Sales Pipeline: Use CRM tools to track your sales pipeline and ensure efficient follow-up and lead management.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in insurance sales or brokering.
- Sales-Driven: A proven track record of successfully generating and closing sales in a commission-based environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build relationships quickly and communicate effectively with prospects and clients.
- Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain RIBO license.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various insurance products and the ability to recommend the best solutions for clients.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads and manage sales efforts.
- Goal-Oriented: A drive to meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on long-term success.
Compensation
This is a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. Your income will be directly tied to your sales performance, offering you the opportunity to earn significantly based on your results.
